Our Mission is to create in each individual a thirst for the knowledge of God and Christ Jesus,
and to discern the will of God in their life.
By doing so they will be prepared:
We have programs for Children, Youth and Adults.
Our goal is to create a place where children can explore the relationship of God in their lives and equip parents to become their primary Spiritual educators.
A terrific Church School program is available for children beginning in preschool through 7th grade at the 10:15 service.
Children in preschool, pre-kindergarten and kindergarten should meet directly in their classrooms at 10:15 for Church School.
Children in grades 1-7 attend opening worship with their families and will be dismissed with their teachers to their classrooms
following the children's message.
For the pre-school through kindergarten classes, we are pleased to use the Seasons of the Spirit curriculum. It is lectionary based complementing our weekly worship service. It integrates prayer, teaching and service while engaging the arts, technology and science. Grades 1-6 will continue Desciple Road. Disciple Road is a workshop rotation model which brings the children to a different, engaging, creative Biblical based workshop each week.
Our 7th Graders will be exploring world religions through readings and discussion, mixed media and field trips and celebrations. Our primary text is My Friends’ Beliefs by Hiley Ward. We will study Judaism during the fall semester and Islam, Hinduism and Buddhism in the spring.
For more information about the Children's Christian Education program, please contact Jennifer Habetz or Suzanne Wagner.
Child care is available every Sunday during our 10:15 service. Newborns through “crawlers” are cared for by a professional caregiver and volunteers in our infant nursery, and “walkers” under age 3 are cared for in our toddler room.
Vacation Bible School 2006 is August 7th through 11th this year. 9:00 - Noon. VBS is open to children four-years-old through third grade from the church and the community.
