The Store will close for its annual summer hiatus at the end of the business on Saturday, Aug. 8. It will reopen for a new season of fall thrifting and bargain hunting on Saturday, Aug. 29 at 10 a.m. No donations will be accepted during our summer hiatus. Join us August 5 -7 for our annual half-price sale and on Saturday, August 8 for our popular bag sale! Stuff a bag with bargains for just $8. Thank you for shopping with us!

OUR HISTORY
The Store has been successfully managed by church members since 1978. Jean Caldwell managed from 1987 through 2011. Marilyn Lord managed from 2011 through 2016. The current manager is Amy Watson. First Church is grateful to the many volunteers who have made the store a valuable community resource.
OUR MISSION
The Store is an outreach of First Church Fairfield that serves the wider community. Its purpose is to provide our neighbors with quality, thrift-priced goods that in turn support the Church’s extensive network of social services.

- Other community partners proposed by the Store volunteers
DONATIONS
The Store accepts donations of clean, new and gently-used women’s, men’s, children and teen clothing, accessories including handbags, shoes and jewelry, bric-a-brac that is clean and not damaged, small appliances, as well as many other small household and decorative items.
Donation Hours: Tuesday-Friday 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Saturdays, 10:00 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Please call the store at 203-259-0449 in advance to be sure we are open and accepting donations. As a reminder, we are not accepting donations from August 9 to 28 as we close for our annual summer hiatus and refresh the store for fall shopping.
